Make these superb layer bars with Eagle Brand for a triple good, triple delicious treat.
Preheat oven to 350F (325F for glass dish)
1/2 cup margarine or butter
1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1 pkg. (200g) flaked coconut
1 can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
1 pkg. (350g) semi sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
Makes 36 bars
In 13x9" baking pan, melt margarine in oven.
Sprinkle crumbs evenly over margarine.
Top evenly with coconut then Eagle Brand.
Bake 25 minutes or until lightly browned.
In small saucepan, over low heat, melt chips with peanut butter.
Spread evenly over hot coconut layer.
Cool 30 minutes.
Chill thoroughly.
Cut into bars.
Store loosely covered at room temperature.
