2 American Lamb center leg steaks or 4 boneless top round steaks (approximately 1-1/2 pounds)
1 cup fat-free chicken broth
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
2 tablespoons lime juice
2 tablespoons rum, optional
1 teaspoon grated gingerroot
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
Servings: 6
1. In large baking glass dish, combine marinade ingredients. Add steaks turning to coat. Cover, refrigerate and marinate for 2 to 24 hours.

2. Remove from marinade and discard marinade.

3. Grill 4 inches over medium-hot coals for 5 to 7 minutes per side or until desired degree of doneness.
