Recipe Feeder
1 banana (thickens the shake)
2 apples
1 kiwi fruit (great for fibre)
Handful of mixed berries (full of antioxidants)
1 teaspoon of flaxseed oil (contains omega 3)
2 teaspoons of spirulina powder (packed full of protein)

If I'm after some extra vitamin C, then I add a handful of goji beries.

Method
Peel and slice the kiwi fruit and banane
De-core and slice the apples
Blend all the ingredients together until smooth

The reason I like this recipie is that it's full of nutrients, antioxidants, proteins and vitamins plus it does taste great.

It's best to use spirulina powder - if you've got capsules then you can just empty the powder into the glass. And it's best to use a 100% natural powder and if you're vegetarian then you can get vegetarian approved spirulinas as well.
