Date Filling

1 8-ounce package chopped dates or pitted dates, snipped
2/3 cup water
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Servings: 8
Combine package chopped dates, water and lemon juice in saucepan over medium heat. Cook and stir until mixture boils and thickens to spreadable consistency. Stir in chopped walnuts.
