Florida keys vacation hotel questions?

we are planning on taking a vacation to the keys next month but dont know where to stay. we want it to be on the beach but not too expensive. ive been to the booking sites but its hard to tell which ones are on the beach and which ones arent

Coral Bay Resort in islamorada is fantasticI stayed there in sept 2008 and am hopefully going back in june 2010.My parents stayed there before me and recommended it so highly i thought i could only be dissappointed when i went, but i wasnt, it's fantastic.it has its own private beach and boat launch if your lucky enough to to have your own boat.You can get cheaper than the advertised rates on the website if you call and barter.A holiday location is down to what you like, i like to relax some where peaceful and some fishing (which you can do from the jetty on the complex), coming from Great Britain the tropical weather is lovely too.The islamorada fish company restaurant is down the road and its great - i ate there virtually every day.Anyway i've not stayed anywhere else in the keys so there might be some better places out there - but i thought i'd offer you my opinion / reccomendation rather then copy and paste the local tourist boards list of hotelshope you have a lovely time where ever you stayall the bestRob
