Is it ok to wear makeup so soon after having chickenpox?

I'm 21 years old and I'm recovering from chickenpox. The blisters on my face have scabbed over, and are just dark red spots now. I have to return to work in 2 days, and I was wondering how soon I could wear makeup without complicating my skin any more! Also, what about regular acne cleaners? Are they ok to use?

Steer clear of the acne cleaners until the scabs have dropped off completely. The make up is OK, just keep it fairly light, a little mousse foundation and a light dusting of powder. When cleaning the makeup off take great care to avoid damaging the scabs.
