Walnut Bread (1 1/2 or 2-Pound Recipe)

1 cup water (70º to 80ºF)
1 egg white
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, cut up
3/4 teaspoon salt
3 cups bread flour
3/4 cup coarsely chopped walnuts, toasted
2 tablespoons nonfat dry milk
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon Fleischmann's® Bread Machine Yeast
Servings: 16
1. Measure all ingredients into bread machine pan in the order suggested by manufacturer, adding nuts with flour.

2. Process on basic/white or quick bread cycle; use medium/normal crust color setting. Do not use delayed-bake feature. If available, process on fruit/nut cycle; add nuts at the signal. Remove from pan; cool on wire rack.

Makes 1 loaf (12 to 16 slices)

Yield: 1 Loaf

Notes: Do not make loaves larger than recommended by bread machine manufacturer. Use the recipe for 1-pound machines if your bread machine pan holds 10 cups or less of water.
