French Silk Chocolate

Flufy and light with a silky smooth texture. Creamy chocolate flavor. Delicious.

3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup white corn syrup
1/3 cup water
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups whipping cream
8 3/4 cups milk
Makes 20 servings, 8oz each
Combine chocolate chips, syrup, water and vanilla in saucepan.
Heat, stirring often, on low until smooth and all chocolate is melted.
Refrigerate until cold.
Beat whipping cream until it is beginning to thicken just a little.
Add chocolate mixture gradually while continuing to beat.
Beat until mixture will mound.
Chill.
Heat milk in heavy saucepan.
Pour 6 oz. hot milk into mugs.
Add chocolate mixture to taste.
Stir well.
An 8 oz. mug would take about 4 heaping tbsp.
