My kitchen caught fire but the only damage caused were stains from the fire and smoke on my kitchen cabinets. If someone has any tips on how to remove these stains i would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.
When we moved into this rental we are in, I noticed smoke damage on the cabinets. What I did was took a Magic Eraser and cleaned them with it. It worked like a charm, but it took a long time!
How do "I" do it? I use these, http://www.guardsman.com/guardsman/furniture_care/details.jsp?sku=3168&title=Guardsman%20Kitchen%20Cabinet%20Wipes%20(35%20Count)&img_loc=3168.jpg&long_desc=The+power+of+our+Kitchen+Cabinet+Cleaner+Aerosol+in+a+convenient+and+easy-to-use+wipe%21&cat_name=KITCHEN/BATH followed by Dawn & water.
If they are wood use Murphy's oil soap and water with a rag, if they are something other than wood use Lysol (yellow liquid in a bottle) and water. This should work and keep from damaging the cupboards.
