If I write a script for a tv show, is it legal for me to use their characters and names?

I wrote a script for a tv show--btw if you can an address of where I can submit it to-it's for the sarah silverman show--I was wondering if I can use the actual character's names or is that somehow illegal? I want them to at least see it, if they hate it-fair game, but I think it's a good show idea. Please help, it has always been my dream to be a writer and I could really use some money right now.Thank you in advance.

It wouldn't be illegal unless you distributed it.
