I am an 18 year old male actor. My face and body are the money makers, ya know. What can I do to reduce the chance of scarring? I know not to itch of course, but what else?
Calamine lotion on the spots to try to prevent itching. You can also use ice cubes but that might get a little uncomfortable. Take plenty of vitamins to boost your immunity as well.
The best thing is not to scratch them no matter how itchy they get , because scratching can cause infection and scabbing and this will scar...use calamine lotion it helps with the itch and it helps to dry them out ....
im a pageant girl so i know what u mean ... i used oatmeal baths to sooth itching before i went to sleep and coco butter to minimize scaring and chamomile to sooth itching
