I am against the chickenpox vaccine because i don't see the point in giving a child a shot if they can still get the real thing.. however I travel to mexico alot and my family is worried that she needs the vaccine in order to travel there.. anyone have any tips?

go to www.909shot.com (the national vaccine information center) also check out the video by Dr. Sherri Tenpenny " Vaccines: What CDC research and science reveal." You will be blown away. The chicken pox vaccine is ridiculous. The only reason it is out there is because it generates money for the doctors and pharmaceutical giants. Do your research.....

I'm all for the vaccine... You're less likely to get shingles (herpes zoster- adult chickenpox) if you've had the vaccine, the side effects- if any- are short lived and usually not noticable (grumpy, low grade fever, tired etc..), and you're preventing a horrible disease from spreading to your child!!! Go for it mom!
