3 pound Chuck Roast
salt, pepper, garlic powder to taste
1 sliced onion

In a greased 9 by 13 inch pan put the roast and seasonings and sliced onion on top. That's all, no liquid is added. The meat makes its own pan juices. Seal tightly with foil, bake at 275* for 6 hours. Don't Peek!!! After 6 hours, take out and let set for 10 minutes. It is very tender and good. I had plenty of leftovers for sandwiches.
