Recipe Feeder
2 slices bacon 2 slices
1 cup onion, finely chopped 250 mL
2 cups potatoes, pared and cubed 500 mL
1 tsp salt 5 mL
dash of pepper
1 cup water 250 mL
2 cans clams in liquid (5 oz/(142 g) 2 cans
2 cups half and half cream 500 mL
3 tbsp butter 45 mL
Chop bacon. Sauté in a large port until almost crisp.
Add onions and cook 5 minutes.
Add cubed potatoes, salt, pepper and water. Cook uncovered for 15 minutes or until potatoes are done. Place in food processor and blend until smooth.
Drain clams, reserving liquid.
Place potato mixture, clams, 1/2 clam liquid, cream and butter in a large pot. Mix well over medium heat.
Serve hot.
