Cream Cheese Icing

12 ounces cream cheese, softened
2 ounces margarine, softened
1/4 cup milk
44 ounces powdered sugar, sifted
1 tablespoon vanilla
Yield: 1 3/4 quarts
1. Blend cream cheese, margarine, and milk on medium speed until smooth.

2. Add sugar gradually to cheese-margarine mixture.

3. Add vanilla and beat until smooth and of spreading consistency.



Notes: VARIATION:

Orange Cheese Icing. Substitute 1 Tbsp orange juice and 1 Tbsp grated orange peel for vanilla.
