Shortbread Cookies

1 cup icing sugar
1/2 cup cornstarch
1 cup sifted flour
1/2 cup finely ground blanched almonds
3/4 cup butter, soft

Sift together flour, cornstarch and icing sugar.
Stir in almonds.
Add soft butter with a wooden spoon, blending all ingredients.
Roll out and cut with cookie cutters.
Bake at 350F until edges are lightly browned.
