There are products out there that you can put on their gums to make them numb. The poor thing is probably in alot of pain and it is hard to sleep feeling that way. Also there are teething rings that you put in the freezer and then let them chew on it. Good luck.
try going for a drive-sometimes the motion in the car puts babies to sleep, or take him/her in the stroller for a walk, fresh air might help with the motion of the stroller.
I would highly recommend to get some baby orajel!! it is especially for babies who are teething and it works. your baby might not like the taste of it but it works!!
