White Chocolate Toffee Cookies

1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
2/3 c. butter or margarine, softened
1 egg
1 t. vanilla
1 1/2 c. all purpose flour
1 t. baking soda
1/2 t. salt
1 c.white chocolate chunks or chips
1/2 c. toffee bits

In a bowl stir together the butter and sugars. Add the egg and the vanilla. Stir in soda, salt and flour. Add the chips and bits. Drop dough by 1/4 cupfuls about 2 inches apart on a parchment lined cookie sheet. Bake in a preheated 375 degree oven for 13 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. Makes 1 dozen giant cookies
