Curried Tomato Juice

A good aperitif for a summer barbecue. Mild curry flavor in a creamy, tangy tomato drink.

1 cup tomato juice
1/4 cup buttermilk
2 tbsp. gin (1oz), optional
1 tbsp. plain yogurt
1/4 tsp. curry paste
4 ice cubes
Serves 2
Measure first 5 ingredients into cocktail shaker.
Add ice cubes.
Replace lid.
Hold firmly and shake vigorously until creamy and cold.
Strain through sieve into 2 small glasses.
Makes about 1 1/2 cups.
