Recipe Feeder
9 ea potatoes, grated 1 ea egg, beaten
4 ea slices bacon 2 tb (heaping) sour cream
1/2 ea onion, chopped 1 ds salt
1 c milk, boiled 1 ds pepper
6 servings
Put potatoes into colander and press out juices. Cook bacon and keep the
fat. (Vegetarians omit meat.) Combine potatoes, bacon, onion and hot
bacon fat, and pour into a 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Pour milk over top.
Pour on egg and sour cream. Salt and pepper to taste. Bake at 350
degrees for 1 hour or until light brown on top. Serve immediately or let
flavors blend overnight. Serves 6.
