Baked Rice With Almonds

1/2 c SLIVERED ALMONDS 1 c WATER
2 tb BUTTER 1 c CHICKEN BROTH
4 servings
In A Flame Proof 1 1/2 Quart Baking Dish Saute Onion And Almonds Until
Golden, 3 To 5 Minutes. Add Rice And Stir To Mix. Bring Water And Broth To
A Boil. Pour Over Rice Mixture. Bake Uncovered At 375 Deg F For 20 To 25
Minutes Or Until All Liquid Is Absorbed By The Rice.
