3/4 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 cup sour cream
2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground nutmeg
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup crushed walnuts
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
In a large mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light
and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each additiona.
Beat in sour cream. Sift together the flour, baking powder, soda,
salt and nutmeg. Add to mixture and beat well. Pour into a buttered
and floured 9X13 pan. Combine brown sugar, walnuts and cinnamon.
Sprinkle over batter. Cover and chill overnight. Uncover and bake
at 350 for 35-40 minutes.
