Chewy Cherry Squares

Pie crust (see Double Crust Pie Pastry)
1 can cherry pie filling
1 cup flaked coconut
3/4 cup chopped nuts
1/2 cup wheat germ
1/4 cup all purpose flour
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp. melted margarine
1 can sweetened condensed milk

Make regular pie crust (see Double Crust Pie Pastry recipe) in bottom of 13x9" pan.
Bake at 450F for 8-10 minutes.
Mix coconut, nuts, germ flour, sugar and margarine together and set aside.
Spread pie filling evenly over crust.
Pour milk evenly over pie filling.
Sprinkle coconut mixture on top.
Bake at 350F for 35 to 40 minutes or until lightly browned.
Cool before cutting.
