For each serving, cut out with biscuit cutter or knife... center of 1 slice bread.
Spread both sides of bread with... soft butter.
Melt in skillet over medium heat... 1 tbsp. butter
Brown bread slice in skilled over medium-high heat. Turn bread over.
Break into measuring cup or saucer... 1 egg.
Carefully slip the egg into the hole of the bread slice. Lower heat; cover skillet and cook until egg white is set. Sprinkle egg with salt. Remove from pan with large spatula or pancake turner.
