How do you start a review about a TV show?

I'm doing this review on a TV show and I need a bit of help with the first paragraph and the uses of puns and humor. Help?

As with any argument or critique, you must start with your opening statement. Then move on and support it with examples. The opening line won't really be that humorous. You can mix that in as the article moves on.
