Leruth's Southern Comfort Eggnog

3/4 cup Southern Comfort
1/2 cup Sugar
6 Eggs
1 qt Whipping Cream
Vanilla Extract to taste

Separate egg whites from the yolks, and place in separate bowls; lightly beat sugar, egg whites until peaks form. Whip egg yolks until lemon colored. Add whipping cream, vanilla extract, Southern Comfort and mix well. Fold in egg whites.

Top with nutmeg if desidered.
Chill at least 8 hours.
