1 lb softened margarine or butter 450 g
3 cups sugar 700 mL
6 eggs 6
4 cups all purpose flour 950 mL
3/4 cup milk 175 mL
1/2 tsp vanilla 2 mL
1/2 tsp almond extract 2 mL

Cream margarine or butter and gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Continue beating adding one egg at a time.

Gradually add flour alternately with milk and the extracts. Beat 1 minute at high speed.

Pour into a greased and floured tube or bundt pan.

Bake in a 300°F/150°C oven for 2 hours. Cool in pan. Do not invert while hot.
