Mom’s Swiss Steak

2 lb. round steak
2 1/2 cups stewed tomatoes
1 onion, sliced
1 Tbs. Worcestershire sauce
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. vinegar
1 garlic clove, minced
2 Tbs. catsup
2 Tbs. brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
6 Tbs. flour

Pound about 6 Tbs. flour into sides of steak. Brown steak in hot fat in a skillet. Add all ingredients. Cover. Cook over low heat or in the oven at 300* for about 2-2 1/2 hours or until tender. Uncover last 15 minutes to cook down to a thick sauce.
