Old World Potato Bread

3/4 cup water (70º to 80ºF)
1/3 cup mashed boiled potato, at room temperature
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, cut up
1 teaspoon salt
2 1/4 cups bread flour
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
2 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons Fleischmann's® Bread Machine Yeast
Servings: 12
1. Loaf can be prepared in 1 1/2 and 2-pound bread machines.

Measure ingredients into bread machine pan in the order suggested by manufacturer, adding potato with water.

2. Process on basic/white bread cycle; use medium/normal crust color setting. Do not use delayed-bake feature. Remove bread from pan; cool on wire rack.

Yield: 1 Loaf

Notes: * To use instant potatoes: In small saucepan, combine 1/4 cup water and 2 tablespoons milk; bring to a boil. Remove from heat; stir in 1/4 cup instant potato flakes or buds. Cool to room temperature.
