Pineapple, Cheese and Bacon Open Faced Sandwich

1 slice good bakery white bread
softened butter
2 or 3 Tbsp crushed pineapple mostly drained
1 slice sharp American Cheese
2 strips bacon - fried crisp

Spread the bread with a thin layer of butter. Spread pineapple evenly over the butter. Top with the slice of cheese. Toast the sandwich under the broiler until the cheese is bubbly. Place bacon on top and serve while still hot.
