Savory Mushroom Rice

1 cup uncooked long-grain rice
1 (10 ounce) can beef consomme
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can French onion soup
1 (4 ounce) can mushrooms, drained
1/2 stick butter

Mix all ingredients in casserole dish. Bake at 350 degrees F, uncovered, for 60 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes or until all juice is absorbed. If rice becomes too dry, add a little water or butter.

Serves 6.
