Spiced Nuts

1/4 cup canned milk
2 teaspoons water
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
dash of salt
2 cups nut meats
Servings: 8
Mix everything but nuts, bring to boil, stirring constantly, until it reaches soft ball stage. Dump nuts in mixture, stir fast, pour on to buttered cookie sheet and separate nuts as much as possible.
