How can I remove stains from a cookie sheet?

The cookie sheet is Farberware and it is non-stick. I used it to cook/heat up various things in the oven and now it has brown stains on it. Any advice on how to clean it is appreciated.I started using a new cookie sheet with aluminum foil so it wouldn't stained. Any other tips? I'm a newlywed and new at this kind of thing.: )

try soaking in mild vinegar solution.

try using vinegar and baking soda to scrub off any burnt on food, and remove stains.

Get a scotch-brite non-scratch nylon sponge. It might come off it might not... I have some wearever bakeware that can go into the dishwasher.. The detergent takes off the stains.. I also bake using a SILPAT.. It's flexible glass and makes any cookie sheet non-stick. So, I use cheapie aluminum sheets I get for $3. Cover with the SILPAT and everything slides right off! It also cools quickly and can be used over and over.. Just don't cut on top of it... It will damage the finish. You can find SILPAT'S at TARGET, BED BATH & BEYOND or the generic ones.. They work well! Aluminum foil depending on what you are cooking/baking can alter the bake times... Good luck

Be careful using anything abrasive, even baking soda, it can ruin the nonstick surface if you're not careful.
