Recipe Feeder
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup vinegar
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon cloves
2 cups cooked or canned julienne-cut or sliced beets


Combine all ingredients except beets; heat to boiling; pour over beets. Chill 6 hours. Drain, and serve. Garnish with tiny pickled onions, if desired.
