Recipe Feeder
1/2 lb Bacon, cut in pieces 1/2 lb Ground beef
1 md Onion, chopped 2 c Water
1 c Uncooked regular rice 2/3 c Chopped green pepper
1 cn (16 oz) stewed tomatoes 1 ts Chili powder
1/2 ts Dried oregano leaves 1 1/4 ts Salt
1/8 ts Pepper
4 servings
Fry bacon until crisp; drain on paper towels. Cook and stir hamburger and
onion in 10-inch skillet until hamburger is light brown; drain. Stir in
bacon and remaining ingredients. Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Cover and
simmer, stirring occasionally, until rice is tender, about 30 minutes. (Add
small amount water during cooking if necessary.)
