4 tbsp. icing sugar
2 cups flour

Line small tins and bake until brown.

Filling:
2 cups dates
1 cup water
1 1/4 cup brown sugar
Lemon flavoring

Fill shells. May be iced - with butter icing. Maple flavoring in icing.
