3 tablespoons butter
8 ounces package yellow cake mix
21 ounces cherry pie filling
1/4 cup chopped pecans
whipping cream or ice cream
Servings: 8
1. Cut butter into dry cake mix until crumbly; reserve 1/3 cup of mixture.

2. Press remainder into an 8 x 8 x 2" baking dish, building up about 1/2" around sides. Spoon cherry pie filling over crumb mixture to 1/2" of edge of pan.

3. Combine reserved crumb mixture and pecans; sprinkle over fruit.

4. Bake at 350F for about 45 minutes. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
