24 oz cranberries - fresh or frozen
3.3 cups sugar
6 oz walnuts - toasted, coarsely chopped
0.25 cup Grand Marnier
Fresh lemon juice (optional)
=Preheat oven to 350°F Rinse and drain cranberries; place in 15x10x2-inch glass baking dish. Stir in sugar. Cover dish with foil. Bake until cranberries burst and sauce is beginning to thicken, stir ring every 20 minutes, about 1 hour 15 minutes. Cool completely. Stir in wal nuts and Grand Marnier. Add lemon juice to taste, if desired. Transfer to bowl. (Sauce can be prepared 2 days ahead. Cover and refrigerate.)
