ingredients for the cake:
150g unsalted butter, 250g sugar, 6 eggs (separated), 170g unsweetened cocoa, 5g groudn cinnamon(i skipped this ingredient, for not crazy about the flavor of cinnamon)

for the ganache:
170ml heavy cream, 170g unsweetened cocoa

Method:
to make the cake:
1. grease some butter and flour an 8-inched cake tin
2. cream the butter and sugar together in a bowl until light and fluffy, then slowly add the egg yolks once at a time, after everything is mixed, add cocoa into the mixture
3. whisk the egg whites in another bowl until the whites form stiff peaks. then stir 1/3 the whites into the mixture to loosen the mixture. slowly fold the rest of the whites into the mixture.
4. pour well mixed mixture into the prepared cake tin. bake in the oven for 40-45 minutes (might vary with different ovens), then allow to cool. cake will deflate during cooling, so don't worry.

to make the ganache:
heat the cream in a sauce pan, after the cream is boiling, slowly add the sieved cocoa

invert cake onto a cooling rack set over a large bowl. pour ganache over the cake and allow excess to drain off.
