Gum Drop Loaf


1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup raisins
1 cup coconut
1 cup gum drops
1/2 cup walnuts (more if desired)
2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
3/4 to 1 cup milk

Cream together sugar, eggs, and margarine. Add vanilla. Mix in raisins, coconut, gum drops, and walnuts. In a separate bowl, combine flour and baking powder. Add the flour mixture alternately with the milk. Turn into a greased floured loaf pan. Bake at 350F for 1 hour.
