If you had cancer in your cheek, I imagine you had surgery first before starting chemo and radiation. The surgery caused the indentation. I would think, like most people, your skin was discolored and maybe still not completely normal colored yet. 2 years ago, I had brain surgery and have a dip on my skull that won't grow hair. The darkened skin from rads is still visible along the side of my face. I will take that over the alternative any day.
