Yummy! Wonderful blend of cheese, bacon, spinach and artichoke. Looks pretty, too.
8 bacon slices, diced
1 cup finely chopped onion
2 garlic cloves, minced
14 oz. canned artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sour cream
1 bunch of fresh spinach, finely chopped
1/4 tsp. worcestershire sauce
Milk, optional
1 baguette, sliced and quartered
Makes 3 cups dip
Saute bacon, onion and garlic in frying pan until bacon is done and onion is soft.
Add artichoke hearts.
Saute for 1 minute more.
Beat cream cheese and sour cream in bowl until smooth.
Add bacon mixture.
Stir.
Mix in spinach and worcestershire.
Thin with milk if desired.
Serve with bread chunks for dipping.
