A booze-y, fruity drink for those hot summer days after the yard work is done.
2 tbsp. pineapple juice
2 tbsp. orange juice
2 tbsp. apricot nectar
2 tbsp. dark (navy) rum (1oz)
1 tbsp. white (light) rum (1/2oz)
1 tbsp. lime juice
1/8 tsp. grenadine syrup
3 drops bitters (such as Angostura)
1/4 cup club soda
1/4 cup crushed ice
Serves 1
Measure first 9 ingredients into cocktail shaker.
Add crushed ice.
Replace lid.
Hold firmly and shake vigorously until cold.
Strain through sieve into medium glass.
Makes about 1 cup.
Serving suggestion:
Dampen rim of glass with lime wedge, or dip into lime juice in saucer.
Press rim into medium sweetened coconut, toasted, in separate saucer until coated.
