Spicy, foamy eggnog your guests will love.
12 large eggs (see Note)
2 cups icing (confectioners) sugar
3 tbsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
8 cups homogenized milk
1/2 - 1 cup spiced rum (or brandy)
1 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
Serves 25
Beat eggs in large bowl until frothy.
Add icing sugar, 1/4 cup at a time while beating, until combined.
Add vanilla and salt.
Stir.
Pour into small punch bowl.
Add remaining 4 ingredients.
Stir well.
Makes about 14 cups.
Serve immediately.
Note:
Eggs used in beverages should be cold.
Remove eggs from refrigerator just before adding.
Beverage containing uncooked egg should be served immediately.
