Ingredients:

potatoes 3 medium sized

For kari masala powder:

coriander seeds 1cup
gram dal 1cup
cumin seeds 1/2cup
urad dal 1/2tsp
fenugreek seeds 1/4tsp
whole red peppers 10
asafoetida 1/4stsp(add before grinding)

Heat little oil and fry all the ingredients except asafoetida until golden red and grind into powder along with asafoetida.

Method of preparation:

wash peel and chop potatoes into small cubes. Heat 1tbsp of oil and all the chopped potatoes and cook covered until done. Add the above powder as required along with few pinches of salt.
