1 cup Raisins
½ cup Apple Juice
1 cup Wholewheat Flour
½ teaspoon Baking Soda
1 teaspoon Baking Powder
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
¼ teaspoon Nutmeg
¼ teaspoon Cloves, Ground
1 Egg
2 tablespoon Vegetable Oil
1 Orange Zest

In a saucepan, combine the raisins and apple juice. Bring to a boil and cool. Meanwhile, mix the flour, baking soda, baking powder, spices, egg and vegetable oil together. Add the raisin mixture and blend thoroughly. Spread the mixture into a lightly oiled square pan. Sprinkle on the grated orange rind.

Bake in 350f oven 30 to 40 minutes. Cool in the pan on a wire rack and cut into bars.
