Fragrant almond and coffee aromas emanate from this soothing, warm milk.
1 1/2 cups milk
2 tbsp. almond-flavored liqueur (such as Amaretto), 1oz
2 tbsp. coffee-flavored liqueur (such as Kahlua), 1oz
2 tbsp. whipped cream (or frozen whipped topping, thawed), for garnish
1 tbsp. finely chopped almonds, toasted, for garnish
Serves 2
Heat and stir milk in small heavy saucepan on medium until bubbles form around edge.
Remove from heat.
Add both liqueurs.
Stir.
Makes about 1 1/2 cups.
Pour into 2 small mugs.
Top each with whipped cream and almonds.
