Bananas And Apples In Caramel Sauce

2 medium Golden Delicious apples
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/3 cup water
3 medium bananas
1/2 cup pecans

1. Cut apples into wedges.

2. In 12-inch skillet over medium heat in hot butter, cook apple wedges 5 minutes, stirring often.

3. Push apples to one side. Stir in brown sugar over low heat until melted, stirring frequently. Gradually stir in water.

4. Cut bananas into 2-inch diagonal pieces. Add bananas and pecans to mixture in skillet. Cook 3 minutes over medium heat or until bananas are heated. Gently turn fruit occasionally. Serve warm.
