A soft, tasty cookie.
1/2 cup butter or hard margarine
2 x 1oz. unsweetened baking chocolae squares, cut up
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1 large egg
3/4 cup milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
Topping:
2 x 1oz. semisweet baking chocolate squares, melted
Maes 4 dozen cookies
Melt butter and chocolate in large saucepan over low heat, stirring often.
Remove from heat.
Using spoon, beat in sugar, egg, milk and vanilla.
Stir flour and baking soda together.
Add and stir to moisten.
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet about 1" apart.
Bake in 350F oven for 8 to 10 minutes.
Cool.
Topping:
Drizzle with melted chocolate.
