1/2 cup butter 125 mL
3/4 cup old cheddar cheese, grated 175 mL
1-1/4 cups sifted flour 560 mL
1 tsp Worcestershire or H.P. sauce 5 mL

Cream butter, add cheese, Worcestershire or H.P. sauce and flour. Mix thoroughly. Shape into rolls about 1-in/2.5-cm in diameter.

Wrap in foil and freeze. When ready to bake, slice crosswise 1/4-inch/5-mm thick.

Bake on a lightly greased cookie sheet, at 400°F/200°C for about 10 minutes.

Serve hot with drinks.
